Comparing Two Spreadsheets

Morning

I have two spreadsheets compiled by two different sources with the same data.

One has 424 rows, the other 440 rows.

My question is, what is the best approach to doing a comparison that would enable me to take the best of both and end up with one spreadsheet with all the data?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi,

Lots of dependencies on this question.....without actually seeing your data.:

  1. unique identifier in both data sets - assuming both are the same sheets are the same layout - copy one data set below the other and use the unique identifier and "remove duplicates"
  2. vlookup form the one with the most rows to capture data from your other sheet
  3. ensure in 2. that you are not missing any of the identifiers you are looking up from in your sheet with the most rows,
Hope thats a start??
