In Column A, I have a list of names (e.g. j.doe, jane.doe, etc.) In column B, I have this list, but there is less names. What equation would I put in column C that would compare Column A to Column B, and if the values were in both it would display a "yes" or some type of value.

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
try:
=countif($a$1:$A$100,B1)
copy down column C
If you have anything over 1 as your count, it means you have a duplicate.
