Comparison macro

As an instructor of Microsoft Office at a college, I have students submit their files electronically.
With this, two people could easily do one assignment each and forward it to the other to save as and add their name to it.

Is there an easy way to compare documents to see if they are identical?

I have seen you recommend this numerous times. You have stock in this company? Too bad it gives errors. It would work great for what I need.
