I know my code is hobbled together, but I cannot figure out the syntax to select a range with two variables.

I get a compile error on the Range(x&":"&y).Select

Sub Find_zero()

Dim x
Dim y

Range("F1").Select
Selection.End(xlDown).Select
ActiveCell.Offset(1, -1).Select
x = ActiveCell.Address
Selection.End(xlDown).Select
ActiveCell.Offset(, 1).Select
y = ActiveCell.Address

Range(x&":"&y).Select
Selection.ClearContents

End Sub

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Try
VBA Code:
Range(x, y).ClearContents

Slight change try
VBA Code:
Sub Find_zero()

Dim x as Range
Dim y as Range

Range("F1").Select
Selection.End(xlDown).Select
ActiveCell.Offset(1, -1).Select
Set x = ActiveCell
Selection.End(xlDown).Select
ActiveCell.Offset(, 1).Select
Set y = ActiveCell

Range(x, y).ClearContents

End Sub
