I'm trying to create a worksheet to help with an online game (Storm8 Worldwar). Cost of units increase by 10% after each purchase. e.g first unit costs 20000, next time it's 22000 and then 24200 etc.
I'd like to enter the base cost (20000) in a cell and next to it the quantity held and in another cell calculate the cost of the next purchase.

Hope that makes sense! Thanks

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Thanks but I'm trying to use a single cell to calculate the cost.

Base Cost Quantity Held Next Cost
Unit A 20 5 29.3

i.e
# 2 = 20 *1.1 22
# 3 = 22 *1.1 24.2
#4 = 24.2 *1.1 26.62 etc
