Compute difference by cell input

Ok, another question.

I have the total hours computed in I35.

What I would like to do is seperate the total value of I35 - any hours if there are any inputs in a select Column and cells.

I5 through I34 are the hours used for the equipment.

Explanation: Column B is Typa A equipment, Column C is Type B equipment. So cells 5-34 (which I input the equipment id number), in either Column B or C would need to be deducted from I35 to give me the total hours used by the Type A equipment or Type B equipment.

Please help.

Anyway, as you can see, I would like to have the difference in hours for equipment use.
