Concatenate

Hi.

If its possible to use Concatenate function for a 2000 columns with values?? Or another function?

I need to join numbers from more than 1000 columns to one cell with symbol ";".

I use this function =A1&" ; "&A2 but this is very slow to set up all the values.

I use MR Excel 2003

Can you please clarify something...
You mentioned that you have 1000 columns of information, but Excel 2003 only has 256 columns.

Perhaps if you posted a small example of your data and the results you want to see based on that data, we'll have a better understanding of what you're working with.

Would a custom function be acceptable?

Right-click your worksheet tab and select View Code, then insert a new module (Insert > Module) and paste this code into it:-

Public Function ConCatRange(aRange As Range) As String
 
  Dim oCell As Range

  For Each oCell In aRange
    ConCatRange = ConCatRange & ";" & oCell.Value
  Next oCell

  ConCatRange = Mid(ConCatRange, 2)
    
End Function

Now you have a function which you can use like any other range function:-

=concatrange(a1:a99)
