Conditional Fomatting Question

I have a spreadsheet that has 2 worksheets in it.

- Sheet1 is basically a data entry form. It has a combo box used for selecting values from a table in Sheet2.
- Sheet2 contains a list of names and 7 other columns of associated data.

I would like to select a name from the combo box in Sheet1, and then highlight the names on Sheet2 one-at-a-time.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

I don't believe that conditional formatting can cross worksheets, but perhaps it can be passed as a Named Range

Set up a named range = the cell destination on your Sheet 1

example name: myconditionalrange


Highlight columns in sheet 2 (say C:J)

in Conditional formating as such:

=c1=myconditionalrange
