Hi All

May I ask the forum how I would highlight a cell that met two conditional formats. For example if the format is met then the cells are highlighted in green with bold type red font, is it possible to highlight another cell if the initial two conditions are met.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

Who is Mr Spreadsheet?
Author John Walkenbach was Mr Spreadsheet until his retirement in June 2019.
a simple trick I use is to add a column that indicates if the two criterias are met, such as 1 if met, 0 if not. then i conditional format whichever cell i need to that has a 1 in that row.

example:

=IF(AND(A1>5,B1<10),1,0)

A1 being the 1st criteria
B1 being the 2nd

then if you want C1 to highlight just conditional format it to change if the cell with this formula equals 1

Hi ango858

That works an absolute treat. I have said it before about other people whom have responded to my requests but I will say it again.

You are a credit to yourself and the board and I am once again very grateful.

Kind Regards
