Hi,

I need to put a conditional format formula into cell S4 that says:

If Q4 > 18, then take the date value in R4 (yyyy) and add 1 year to it. If Q4 <= 18, then populate S4 with the value in R4 (yyyy).

Thanks in advance!

Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
What you are looking for is not a conditional format formula, but rather a regular formula like =if(q4>18,r4+366,r4).

Or, assuming that R4 is a date formatted as YYYY

=YEAR(R4)+(Q4>18)

If R4 holds a 4 digit number to reprsent the year then

=R4+(Q4>18)
