All,
I'm trying to do some conditional formatting question. Say I have two columns C and D. I'm trying to format cell D3. I want the box to show up Red if C3 has a Y as the value and D3 has a N as it's value. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Instead of using 'Cell value is' you have to use 'Formula is'. Enter the following formula

Code:
=AND(C3="Y";D3="N")

I needed to take out the semi colon and replace it with a comma but that worked. Thanks.
