If COlumn X =2, I want to shade all the cells in that row (A thru X) in grey

Any thoughts

- Highlight the first row (A thru X) and then go into conditional formatting
- Choose the 'use a formula option' and in the box that appears type =$X1=2
- Hit the Format button and select your formatting options
- 'OK' yourself out of that function
- Copy and Paste FORMATTING ONLY the first row all the way down thru all rows that need this conditional formatting.

Give it a whirl :)
