Hi friends,

Please guide me. I have this formula in the conditional formatting cell V35:
=AND(OR(G35="Active",G35="Approved"),V35<NOW())

I want the formula to be applied on all the cell of V35:V100.

The trouble is when I go to see the results and view the formula of V50's formula it shows me =AND(OR(G35="Active",G35="Approved"),V35<NOW()).

It should show me =AND(OR(G50="Active",G50="Approved"),V50<NOW())

How can I have the formula of CF of cell V35, be applied on the rest of the cells of the range.

Thanks a lot!
Leny

Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
I think that this is a bug in Excel 2007 - it displays the formula wrongly. Does the CF work as expected in Row 50?

Hi, and thanks for the reply.

I doubt there is a bug, because I opened a brand new workbook from a friend computer.

The trouble is in the same column i am trying to have the same formula applied but naturally the numbers will change the original formula is
=AND(OR(G35="Active",G35="Approved"),V35

So when the copying of the CF is done on row 50 then the formula in CF should be
=AND(OR(G50="Active",G50="Approved"),V50

Please help me understand how to do CF on Xl 2007.

Thanks,
Leny

I think it is a bug in Excel 2007 not your workbook.

Does the CF work correctly on row 50?

yes, but the formula is showing =AND(OR(G35="Active",G35="Approved"),V35

And refuses to change to =AND(OR(G50="Active",G50="Approved"),V50

you know when you use the brush.

Well, sorry, for the third time, this is a bug in Excel 2007 whereby CF formulas are not displayed correctly except for the first row to which they apply.

Sorry if I bothered you, I was only confused and thought that maybe I was describing my problem clearly.
