Conditional formatting a row only where there's data

I use
=MOD(ROW(),2)=1
to make the background a light grey in every other row. I want to add someting so that any row that has the word Open anywhere in the cell in column L makes the whole row a light yellow.

Maybe give precedence to

=ISNUMBER(FIND("Open",L1))

 

[mayday1]

This makes the cell in column A change format. Is it possible to make a through L reformat?
