Hi

I tried to do the following:
  1. click Home on the ribbon,
  2. then Conditional Formatting,
  3. highlight cell rules,
  4. then equal to
  5. in the pop up box type the letter R (or A or G one at a time to highlight by traffic lights)
  6. click the drop down menu on the right & custom format
I watched a YouTube video where this works perfectly but in practice it goes wrong at stage 6. The drop down menu offers about half a dozen obscure fill colours but then there is no 'custom' option to select a red, amber/yellow/green from a full range of colours?

Can anyone explain why it is not appearing?

Thanks
Colin

Are you sure that the video was for Excel online and not the desktop version?
