Conditional Formatting (Delete)

i dont want to highlight the cells.

I want to delete them if they contain "words or conditions".

how do you simply delete them?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Conditional Formatting CAN NOT change the value in any cell, just the formatting of the cell.

You have a few options:

1. Using Conditional Formatting, you can change the color of the text so that it is the same as the background color (i.e. white), so the entry will appear to be deleted (really isn't, is just "invisible").

2. If you actually need to delete the entries, you will probably need to use VBA instead of Conditional Formatting.
