Hi All..
Great forum. Wondering if one of you could help me too. Here goes!

I have 3 rows and 2 columns of numbers:
1 1
2 1
2 3

Now you'll see if you SUM those numbers up the total is 5 in both cases, but I need to indicate that this total is made up from a different series of numbers.
I.e. what I want to do with the Cond. Format is to show 3 colours (RAG rating). Now the 1st column's SUM of 5 has two number '2's in it therefore I want it to be Green......but as the 2nd column's SUM of 5 has two number '1's in it I want it to be Amber. Oh, and as a side note.... if there were three number '1's then the format would be red.

P.s. I tried to install the HTML cretor to help you help me but I've not been able to add the Addin yet. Doh. Will keep trying though.
Many thanks in advance for any help you guys/girls can offer.

Welcome to the board!

Try these 3 formulas in the "Formula is" option in CF:

=COUNTIF(A1:A3,MAX(A1:A3))=2
=COUNTIF(A1:A3,MAX(A1:A3))=1
=COUNTIF(A1:A3,MAX(A1:A3))=3
