I have a spreadsheet that is used to track Actions from Meetings.

What I need to do is that if an action is complete, I want to make that complete row Green, if the action is Overdue make that row red and all other actions will have no format.

What will i have to do to do this.

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
If the action is in A1, select the entire row and use a conditional formatting formula like:

=$A1="complete"

The $ sign fixes the column reference.

I have the text "Complete" in cell G4, and I want row 4 to be green and so on down through the sheet.

Does this make any sense. I really appreciate your help
