Conditional formatting of an object based on cell content

Hi all,
I am not a VBA Person by any stretch of the imagination but I am pretty good with excel for a dentist.
I am trying to figure out how to get an object like a circle to turn green if the content of cell A1 is "1" and white if the cell content is anything else. Also, if the content of cell A2 is "1" then the outside line turns red. Otherwise it stays white.
