Hello!

I have a date - let's say 3/16/2022 in the column H

I want in Google Sheets to conditionally format this column H so that if the current/real date will be 7-14 days from the date above it would highlight ORANGE (to help me see that I need to send a follow up to that person)

I also want to do the same but if the date would be more than 14 days - and highlight it RED.

What formula can I use? I tried a few tutorials but cannot seem to get it to work

I know you are Excel wizards, so I'm sure it's some trivial formula for you :)

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Do you mean that today's date is before, or after, the date in column H?

"Today's date" will change every day according to the real date
And dates in column H will be different.

I need basically Google Sheets to count the difference in days from the date in column H and the "today's date". If that's going be anything from 7-14 days I want color ORANGE wif bigger than 14 days I want color RED.

That doesn't answer my question, I'm afraid. Do you want them orange if they are 7-14 days before today, or after today? Or both?

Let e explain once again. Below are the dates I have in column H. On those dates, I've sent call invitations to candidates:

CALL INV SENT
3/8/2022
3/9/2022
3/10/2022
3/16/2022

Now I want to format this column H with those dates above so that when 7 days pass from those dates in column H - the cells will automatically be highlighted with ORANGE color.
