Conditional Formatting Question

Hi there,

I have a matrix where I would like a cell highlighted if the majority of the values in a column are "r" and need some help.

Basically, if more than 5 of the 10 cells in row C, C7 - C16 have "r" in them, I need it to highlight cell C5. Any thoughts on a formula for this?

put in the conditional format rule

=COUNTIF($C$7:$C$15,"r")>(COUNTA($C$7:$C$15)/2)

Use a formula:

=COUNTIF(C7:C16, "r")/ROWS(C7:C16)>=0.5
