Hello All

I have a table made with tasks in it and I was hoping that excel could shade the tasks when they are ticked off (Cells H6 to H21). I have made check boxes and then put a cell link in to a different cell (G6 to G21 with a True / False value), which I will eventually hide. Can I ask how I then set a conditional format command to colour shade a different cell (H6 to H21 depending on the TRUE / FALSE value of the other cells?

Hi Trevolly,

A Conditional Format is set when the result is TRUE so in this case you just need to point to the same row in G

Thanks for the info and I understand the theory but I just can’t work out what the conditional format formula would be for the cells.
