Hello is there a way to assign 3 conditions that must be true in order for a cell to turn a color.

Ex. If F5 is blank and F1 is not blank and F3 does not equal “Pass”

I want to be able to enter this formula as a new rule so that a cell will highlights if true.

How should that condition be created?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
yes, in your conditional formatting formula use:
Excel Formula:
=AND(ISBLANK(F5),ISBLANK(F1)=FALSE,F3<>"PASS")

Another option
Excel Formula:
=and(f5="",f1<>"",f3<>"Pass")

Thank u this worked but since F1 has a formula in it, it is making the statement false. Is there a way to indicate is not a number? Instead of is not blank for F1?

Try the formula I posted, that is designed to work with cells that contain a formula.
