Hello Everyone,

I am trying to use Conditional Formatting...

Our goal is to have clients with viral load results less than 200,

When a client's viral load lab result is greater than 200, there should be an X in front of the lab results (see below)

When a client's viral load lab result is 0 there should be an ! in front of the lab results (see below)

After I enter and apply my formatting rule, I see the Xs and !s, so I save the data, close the excel spreadsheet, then reopen it, the icons (Xand !) are gone....

How do I prevent this from happening? What am I doing wrong? Should I be using another feature?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Please post the exact Conditional Formatting rules that you are using.

When you re-open your sheet, are the Conditional Formatting rules still there?
What format are you saving the file in?

I tried to take a screen shot, save it as a pdf file, but am having trouble attaching it to my thread since it wants the URL?

You cannot attach files to this site.
Are you using Conditional Formatting formulas? If so, just please copy and paste them here.
Also, please be sure to answer the two questions at the bottom of my previous post.
