In my Jeanie the names are data validation lists... I just playing to see if I can hide the names if the first cell C7 returns the letter "E"...

When I highlight C7:F7 and open CF, the condition 1 formula is =tesup... what is that please and am I right in saying that I won't be able to add a second condition (white font, white background if C7 = "E") to the cells with the data validation please?

Conditional Formatting
in D7

=($C7="E")
format as required if this is TRUE

Use format painter (paintbrush) to copy to D7 and E7
