Hi

I am trying to use a conditional formatting with a criteria of more than one numbers, but dont know how.

For instance; "Format only cell that contains"

100 and 101 and 102

it works alright for one number, but what criteria should i give for more than one number?

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

What version of Excel are you using?

Use the "formula option" and use a formula like this:

=OR(A1=100,A1=101,A1=102)

Replace A1 with the actual cell reference.

No, you need to select from A1 to the end of your data then use the CF formula given above.

nopes

=OR($A$1:$A$7=100,$A$1:$A$7=101,$A$1:$A$7=102)

its highlighting the whole range even if it does not include the criteria numbers, for instance if the number is 103, it is also highlighting 103.

Tell us what version of Excel you're using and tell us the EXACT range of cells you want to format.
