:confused:I need a conditional format for if column A and AC and not match (so comparing each cell i.e A2 amd AC2, A5 and AC5) if they are matching i want it to be a green if not matching red. but the formula iahd used wont work.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Hi,

Highlight column A and goto Format -> Conditional Formatting, then enter:

Formula Is:

=A1=AC1 for Green
=A1<>AC1 for Red
