Hi everyone

i wonder if you can help me?

I have a data validation in cell F3 to list Either Cash or Cheque, and I have a conditional format set in cells H3:S3 to say if cellF3 contain "Cheque" then fill cells in Grey... but only the first cell (H3) fills in grey? any ideas why the other cells (I3:S3) do not fill?

Many Thanks in advance

Simon

Make sure you're using Absolute reference on the column for your formula...

Instead of
=I3="Cheque"

Try
=$I3="Cheque"

Hope that helps.
