Hello Excel Fellas!

I have a "Target Completion Date" cell (which is a formula). I want this cell to pop when the date exceeded 90 days from TODAY. How can I do this? It seems simple, and I've tried different conditional rules but none of them have worked. :confused: Any suggestions???

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Welcome to the Board!

You can use Format only cells that contain-->Cell Value-->Greater than-->=TODAY()+90

If you mean the date is > 90 days in the past try the CF formula

=TODAY()-A1>90

Change A1 to suit.

HTH,

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this one but it didn't work. As you can see with the formatting below, it highlighted the dates that will occur in 90 days rather than dates that are after 90 days.

Cell Value --> greater than --> =TODAY()+90

Please explain exactly what you want to do. Is it 90 days before ore after today?

=a1-today() < 90

I tried this but it didn't work either. For example, it highlighted a date value 8/12/11, however, that date is not after 90 days from today. I tried reversing the sign (from "<" to ">") but all dates were highlighted when these values aren't after 90 days from today...
