Dear Sir,

I am just a beginner in MS Excel. I have learned & practice on MS Excel Formulas. However, I am cofused on arguments as there is no one to explain or guide me. What actually the arguments states.

Example: =IF(Average(F2:F5)>50, SUM(G2:G5),0)

I understand from above formula is: if the average of F2 to F5 is less than 50 only.
Apart from that I don't understand what actually SUM (G2:G5) tells and the comma(,) & zero(0). Kindly explain.

Thanx.

No
the condition here if the average is greater than 50

If Value Is true : the average greater than 50 , Excel Will sum the range G2:G5 with this formula SUM(G2:G5)
if average less than 50 the result will be Zero

==========
read the help for IF Function
=IF(logical_test,value_if_true,value_if_false)

HTH
