I cant find how to go straight to entering a SQL statement after I have specified the server and the database and the fact I don't want to "Connect to a specific table:".
Excel insists on presenting me with a list of tables to select even though I've just said I don't want to do that.
I get round this by selecting any table and then going to the properties and changing the "Command type:" to "SQL" and pasting in my select statement.
Surely there is a quicker way to do this?
