Hi All

i have two sheets, in both of them there are names of companies, but in different configuration (for example: in sheet 1: Nokia inc, in sheet 2: Nokia).

is there a way to know if value in sheet 1 appear in sheet 2, based on part of words - i have a lot of cases as the example i mentioned below

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.

something like a find and replace could help by finding anything with "nokia" and replacing with blank you would delete all. is that what your looking for?

ps the find would be based in sheet 2 so sheet 1 wont be affected and "nokia" would come from a cell in sheet1 so can adjust it
