I have both ActiveX and Form Controls on a spreadsheet to the right of data on the sheet. I'm ultimately going to choose one or the other but I was testing both types of controls When I delete the data to the left of the controls they all move to the left. I can't find a way to keep them from moving. The Locked Property on the ActiveX control is set to True. What am I missing and how can I prevent this?
Thanks in advance.

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Go to Design mode. Right click on a control and select Format Control. Select Don't Move Or Size With Cells.

Thank you for your response.
That works for the Form Controls which I can use, but what about the ActiveX controls?

I guess if you found it you are all set. The example I showed was an ActiveX control, same steps for either type.
