Convert a Chart Object to a Chartobject Object?

I have several Charts and I want to convert them to Chartobjects (embedded charts). The reason I need to do this is I need to then copy them into Power Point. If I copy the Chart it puts a strange square border around the PowerPoint slide. With a Chartobject I don't have this problem!
