So, I have a TV listing in pdf format from tvguide and I would like to convert it to an excel spreadsheet. Is there any way to do it? So far I've just typed it out, but I would like to "automate" the process if possible. I've tried different pdf to excel online converters, but the results were broken tables with too many breaks, unnecessary rows/columns/cells that took more time to clean than just typing it.

I use excel 2010/win7. I don't know vba, but if that can help me automate the process, i'm willing to learn it.

Thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Hi and Welcome to the Board
Some PDF documents, especially those with lots of tables/ odd text / breaks, etc are always going to be hard to convert.
But, apart from downloading a proper converter software, I don't think you'll have any luck with VBA either.

I have Adobe 11 Pro and it does a reasonable job on OCR and then copying to Word, but as stated earlier...if there are lots of tables....it struggles.
That's my 2 cents worth and others may have different ideas, but I think you'll struggle to find anything outside of specialised purchased software.

Thanks for answering Michael.
Yes, that's what I feared. I guess I'll give adobe pro trial a try and see the outcome. Thanks again.
