Hi, I would like to convert my time in D5 to hours in decimal point. The result should return as 1.83 hour, however, my result is 20:00. Where is the mistake in my formula?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Nothing wrong, just format E5 as " Number"

I think you have the wrong formatting. Use standard formatting, and not hh:mm
