If you're familiar with macros you can try something like:

The macro expects the data in the first column (= the Rng in the code) to tell the column letter and checks the column B for the row number.

I have very limited Macro experience and probably a little more simple programming experience.
I am trying to follow your logic, but the macro is getting stuck here saying " 'Range' of object'_Global' failed. " I am not sure how to adjust it.
Will continue looking at it though.

I got it! All I had to do was move my data over into column H it worked.
Now all I have to do is edit it for my real data.

I am still having a problem, because I need the range to be dynamic in that I don't want to have to specify each time to go from H1:H24.

How can it be set up so that it will keep going until it hits a blank row and then it will be done with the for each loop?

There is also the small issue of the first time that it copies down to a blank row column A gets offset by 1. I see it posting down the new name and then it gets overwritten by the above, but that is only for the first two names, then it seems to work fine. Any suggestions here?
