Convert Text String to date.

The contents of cell A1 is "1100101" and is formated as text. What formula would work to convert this text string to the date "01/01/2010"? (The leading "1" is a century indicator.)

Try this formula in B1

=TEXT(19000000+A1,"0000-00-00")+0

format B1 as date

I formatted the column B cells with a custom date format so that the date displays as "01/01/10".
