Convert Text to Formula

I have a bunch of cells ( about 150 ) in which I converted the formulas to text by replacing = with '= . When I'm done with data manipulation, I tried to convert those text back to formula with replacing '= to =. However, excel does not recognize the ' in front of the = sign any more for some reason. I think I had same issue before, but could not remember how it's solved other than fix them one by one. Anyone happen to know how to do with it? Thanks.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Select the cells you want to convert
Select from the menu Data\ Text to Columns and click on Finish
