Converting 2 digit Year (YY) to 4 digit Year (YYYY)?

I need to convert a 2 digit Year (YY) cell into a 4 digit Year (YYYY) cell.

The range for the 2 digit year is 20 -19 which is equal to 1920-2019.

is there a formula to do this?

do you mean the cell only contains the Year # ?

If so, something like this would work

=A1+IF(A1>19,1900,2000)
