Subject: Converting csv's to xls's from Command Line
Message:
This is my first post - I hope someone has an answer for me!
Is there a way to convert csv files to xls files through a command
line batch file?
I have a customer overseas that has trouble with csv files and I'm tired of
opening the csv and then saving it as an xls file before sending it to him.
Thanks,

Terry

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Thank you! I ran some testing and that gets me where I need to be on the file conversion and it seems to work pretty well!
BR,
Terry
