Hi.
I have a long report imported from an external source with dates formatted as General e.g. 20210709.
How do I convert these dates to dd/mm/yyyy please?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Do it like this:

MrExcelPlayground6.xlsx
BC
19202107097/9/2021
Sheet20
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
C19C19=DATE(LEFT(B19,4),MID(B19,5,2),RIGHT(B19,2))

And then format the output in the right date setting for your region.

Thank you very much. This worked.
