Converting Hours and Minutes to a Fixed Number

Looking for help on converting time, i.e. 29:30 into a fixed number, i.e. 29.50 hours. Thanks

Hello tubsnjo, welcome to MrExcel.

Just multiply by 24, e.g. with 29:30 in A2 use this formula in B2

=A2*24

format B2 as number

Multiply 29:30 by 24, format the result as a number.
