Converting text to time

I have a table with time measured as below. I need to convert that into minutes or hours so I can use it to compare it against thresholds.

Name	Score	Duration
Joe	60.6	1h 22m
Jane	11.5	1d 3h 24m
Mary	45.0	9m
Joseph	76.9	1h 49m
Carl	74.0	2d 19h 3m
