Converting Time, formula solution

I have a column of time that is in the following format HH:MM where H stands for Hour and M stands for Minute. I need to convert this time to whole hours in another column. The methodology that I want to use is if the time is 8:17 then the value that is returned is 8.

Use Custom format and type H or HH in the Type box
