Converting to date

Hi there, I have a cell that has the value:

Fri 24-Jun-16

How do I convert this to a date using a formula?

So far I've used =RIGHT(ID1,LEN(IB1)-4)

This is to drop of the day from the array.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try

=REPLACE(ID1,1,4,)+0

Format cell as date.
