Hi I am getting an error when using VLOOKUP due to some items having more than 250 characters. The current vlookup is;

=VLOOKUP(C106,Table3,2,0)

For the life of me i can not figure out how to convert this to an index/match formula. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
In MS365 XLookup should overcome the issue, it would look something like this:
Excel Formula:
=XLOOKUP(C106, Table3[LookupCol], Table3[ReturnValueColumn], "")

Thank you Alex! Ended up working a treat. The final formula ended up being;

=XLOOKUP(C105, Table3[Column1], Table3[Column2],"")
