Hello People,

Is there an easy way of converting week number and the year into a date? Say, if a user enters:

37 (Weeknumber in cell A1)
2011(Year, in cell A2 )

I would like an out put of 12. Sept. 2011 in Cell A3

Thanks for your help
Moses

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
I am having this same problem with one more consideration. I have a column which holds an int between 1 & 7 for the days of the week. How can I modify the formula to give me the specified day of the week? I'd like 1 to = Sunday.

Thanks :)

Thanks for the Reply

I was able to use the following to get it to work.

=DATE(A2,1,(B2*7)+C2-1)-WEEKDAY(DATE(A2,1,6))

A2 = Year
B2 = Week #
B3 = Day #
