Hi, I am trying to copy the value from a cell in one column to another column. The original worksheet has in A1 the Sample number of a subject, following that are Data about a subject (about 109 rows and 20 columns worth). There are 100 or so subjects. I want to copy the random sample number (for the first subject it is in A1) to U1, and the rest of the subject samples numbers below to U2, U3 etc. Then I want to select a cell that has data on the subject from N5 (for the first subject) to V1 and the rest of the subject below etc. . .

The only constant in the data is that the subject sample number is always one cell above (in same column) as a cell having the text "SELECT" and the data I am interested in is always 3 rows down and 13 rows to the right of the cell having the text "SELECT." There is a cell having the text "SELECT" for each subject. I have tried offset formulas but the data is not at consistent intervals (every n cells etc.). Any help much appreciated!

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Any ideas? Or could someone direct me to a post that answers a similar query. I'm not finding a solution. Thanks.
