Field C2 is first name (Jill)
Field A2 is last name (Jones)
create formula =C2&" "&A2 and combines the first and last name with a space.
When I copy this formula and paste (tried every paste option) - It copies the formula and the cell number is increasing - the formula in every one looks great and is what it should be, but keeps the value Jill Jones in every one.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Well, I have two questions...one silly and one serious:

silly: Are all your clients named Jill Jones?

No? Ok fine.

Make sure your formula is truly:

Code:
=C2&" "&A2

and not

Code:
=C$2&" "&A$2

or

=$C$2&" "$A$2

Haha - no they are all different names - I gave a couple examples above.
Yes, the formula is truly =C2&" "&A2 - copied and pasted them in the above.
It just doesn't make sense - never had anything like this happen before.
